The sounds of the band warming up for the second act hasten our pace, and we take a quick glance back toward the Midway.

(11) Artistic and Brilliant Illuminations...
The night scene at Willow Grove Park is remarkable for its brilliancy. Over twenty thousand incandescent lights artistically placed sparkle in every nook and corner, while great lights make the lawns and avenues as bright as day.

Far in advance can be seen a myriad of glowing electric lights outlining every building; they surrounds the lake and lagoon and light up the great towering amusement structures, while at intervals the electric fountain bursts forth into view, making the scene resemble a veritable land of dreams. Thus after a most delightful trolley ride our pleasures at Willow Grove Park are most auspiciously begun long before entering the grounds.

Heading down the Midway we arrive at the Mountain Scenic Railway, lit up most impressively.

The sights and sounds of the Midway in the evening is thrilling. It is truly lit up with thousands of twinkling bulbs creating an awe inspiring sight. We read from the booklet:

Heading off the lake on this quick stroll, we see the bright lights of the Casino ahead. We glance at it as we head towards the Midway.
